Carrie Johnson

Development Director

Development Director

Developing a program like CCYO has been a dream for Carrie for some time. For many years she has felt called by God to bring light to the Christian community through the arts and music. Carrie is honored to serve this amazing organization and remains forever grateful to the four women who said, yes.

A graduate from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Carrie spent a combined seven years working for ABC News and NBC News in Chicago, Columbus, Ohio, and Bluefield West Virginia/Virginia. After exiting the news industry, Carrie spent time in corporate America as a Customer Service Manager for Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2015 she served as the Director of Development at Royalmont Academy a Catholic Classical PK-12 school in Mason, Ohio.

Carrie's passion and dedication to serving God through the arts led her to found the schools' first theatre program. Currently, Carrie homeschools both of her children and is the owner and operator of Mountain Top Cookies in Monument, Colorado. Outside of her professional career, Carrie devotes time to community theatre as an actor, director, and producer. Carrie resides in Monument with her husband, Jeff, two children, and dogs. In her spare time, she loves quilting, crocheting, hiking, and camping.
