Our Mission
CCYO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit musical group dedicated to cultural enrichment through symphonic music. Our goal is to use our God-given talents to glorify Him through music and to allow our musicians to play and share their music in His Name for Him.  It is our hope to create a diverse organization that not only creates a welcoming environment for our musicians, but also develops a strong sense of family among our parents and community members, leading them closer in their relationships with Christ.

Statement of Faith

The following Statement of Faith is the guiding principle of CCYO. It is expected that all CCYO youth and adult members and volunteers respect the following statements and behave accordingly; it is hoped that all CCYO youth and adult members and volunteers hold these beliefs in common.

We believe that there is one Triune God–Father; Jesus Christ, His one and only Son; and the Holy Spirit–Creator of the universe and eternally existent. We believe the Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testaments) to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God.  We believe each person is created in His image for the purpose of communing with and worshiping God. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, Who enables us to live godly lives. We believe that each individual is called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength; and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Balanced Participation Program

CCYO is dedicated to helping parents form well-rounded Christian youth leaders. We recognize many of our musicians participate in additional activities (Church, Sports, Dance, Theater, 4H, Scouts, American Heritage Girls, Youth Group, and more) and this is part of their formation.

As such, we are committed to partnering with coaches, directors, and advisors to come to a balanced agreement on time spent in each organization.
